Who Are We?
We are 2,200 Team Members working a broad array of positions and shifts. We are a 24-hour a day, 365-day per year entertainment operation situated in Greektown, Detroit's premier entertainment destination. At Greektown Casino we are a diverse group of Team Members who possess many of the same skills found throughout the hospitality industry: a friendly disposition, attention to detail and unwavering dedication to Superior Guest Service.
Wages and Benefits
Greektown Casino provides a competitive compensation package to all Team Members in each employment category. In addition, we offer Team Members a choice of medical care plans, plus dental and eye care benefits. Team Members also have the option of joining a 401(k) savings plan that includes an employer's matching contribution. Most positions at Greektown Casino are full time, but some part-time and seasonal opportunities also arise.
Training and Continuing Education
Team Members are eligible for an array of training and educational opportunities through the Greektown Casino Academy. With its mission statement, "Providing for Personal and Professional Growth," the Academy offers four programs for career development. Each is designed to open the door to opportunity for Team Members, at all levels. At Greektown Casino, we take every possible step to ensure that each Team Member excels.

Applicants must bring identification, proof of right to work (such as, soc sec. card, birth cert., etc), the exact names and addresses of three references, and the exact names, addresses and dates of employment for all employers going back 10 years (including schools, for those in the workforce less than ten years). All successful applicants must also meet the qualifications for licensure by the Michigan Gaming Control Board and must pass a pre-employment drug screening.

State Licensing
All Greektown Casino Team Members, who work in gaming, must be licensed by the Michigan Gaming Control Board. State licensure requires passage of a criminal background check. All Team Members who work in gaming must be 21 years of age or older, but there are non-gaming positions available as needed for those 18 years of age and above.
